Marchfield land

Marchfield is involved in all aspects of land promotion and management. Sites that we would be interested in for development would be suitable for 1-20 units, in well located, affluent market towns in Hertfordshire. Sites with or without planning consent considered with gross development values of £1m-£15m.

Marchfield also has significant interests in strategic land, both in its own right and through its associated interests in the Fairfield Partnership.

Case study:

The Manor Estate, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead

•35 acre redundant agricultural land adjoining the Manor Estate, Apsley,
 Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

•Land allocated in the Deposit Draft Local Plan for residential development
 in April 1998.

•Land confirmed as a housing allocation in adopted Dacorum Local Plan
 in 2004.

•Outline planning permission granted in June 2007.

•Detailed planning permission granted in May 2010 for 325 dwellings.

•Marchfield, in addition to its own land ownership, took a leading role in the
project management of the planning promotion of this site in conjunction with
 its adjoining land owners.
